TRAVIS now a registered TAPA Security service member
TRAVIS has officially become a security service partner member of Transported Asset Protection Association EMEA , providing us with the opportunity to collaborate and bring you even higher standards of supply chain security.
Through this membership, we’re committed to ensuring your cargo and drivers remain safe and secure throughout their journey. Cargo theft is one of the major concerns for fleets, and one of the simplest ways to lessen the danger of this is to park in a safe area. TRAVIS has Europe’s largest network of secure truck parkings. As Security service providers through TAPA EMEA we hope to reduce the statistics on annual cargo theft and driver harm. It is together with our truck parking partners that we can make this impact and we seek to grow the availability of parkings across Europe – making the process of finding and utilizing them as easy as possible.
Whether you’re a transport company offering depot parking or a registered parking service location, we recommend checking your security level so that you can confidently offer drivers the safest and most comfortable experience. We advise getting in touch with TAPA if this sounds like something you’d be interested in investigating. Together let’s raise the bar for parking security.
Becoming a TAPA partner or certified location has advantages such as greater awareness and client loyalty. You will be listed on TAPA’s partner map and receive a special notation on the TRAVIS website as a partner or certified location. Customers who want secure parking frequently choose TAPA venues, guaranteeing a rise in sales. Learn more about becoming a TAPA partner or receiving a TAPA certification below.

TAPA EMEA is the world’s leading supply chain security resilience association. TAPA EMEA’s Parking Security Requirements (PSR) connect truck operators with a growing network of secure parking places. TAPA EMEA estimates a need for over 400,000 secure truck parking places at more than 2,000 sites. Every year 8.2 billion of goods are stolen from supply chain in the Europe, Middle East & Africa regions. Of this, its estimated that 95% of all recorded cargo theft involves attacks on trucks and 50% of these crimes occur when trucks stop in unsecured areas. The Parking Security Requirements (PSR) are TAPA EMEA’s contribution to addressing this problem. Designed by the industry, for the industry, PSR is already the most adopted industry standard for secure truck parking, currently covering sites in 15 countries – but demand far exceeds supply. TAPA EMEA estimates a need for over 400,000 secure truck parking places at more than 2,000 sites.
