From May 2025, hundreds of new swap locations will become available through a new partnership between TRAVIS, Europe’s largest booking platform for truck services, and MANSIO, a frontrunner in digital relay transport. Thanks to the technical integration between their systems, MANSIO users can now access up-to-date information, see live-availability and location data for trailer swaps directly within the original environment.
What is relay transport?
Relay transport is reshaping the way long-distance road freight is organized. Instead of one truck and driver covering the entire route, trailers are handed over from one transport partner to another. It’s a system that keeps goods moving while enabling drivers to return to their home base after each shift — making transport both faster and safer, and the job more attractive for drivers.
A key part of making relay transport work in practice is having the right infrastructure in place — specifically, suitable locations for trailer swaps. The majority of the locations in the TRAVIS Truck parking network are now also accessible for MANSIO users, significantly expanding the practical options for relay operations.

Thanks to the connection between the MANSIO and TRAVIS platforms, all relevant information about all parking locations is now available in real time within the MANSIO environment. This enables MANSIO’s algorithm to dynamically determine the best swap location — making it easier for freight forwarders to reserve the right spot at the right time, ensuring smoother planning and execution.
