TRAVIS Truck Parking Regulations

  1. TRAVIS Roadservices exploits an international network of truck parking providers, which can come into contact with drivers by joining this network. These drivers wish to park their truck, on the basis of reservations in advance using the TRAVIS online platform, for a reimbursement agreed upon in advance for a shorter period and wish to handle matters in administrative and financial perspectives using the TRAVIS platform designed and developed by TRAVIS.
  2. Entering the reserved Truck Parking by the user occurs entirely at own risk and only upon display of a valid TRAVIS reservation number. Users only have access to the terrain and the facilities which have been made available by the Service Provider, hereinafter referred to as ‘provider’, for TRAVIS Truck Parking users and their vehicle.
  3. Users (drivers and/or passengers) at the Truck Parking need to be in possession of a valid TRAVIS reservation number and a valid proof of identification, which needs to be displayed to the provider upon request.
  4. Parking on the Truck Parking occurs entirely at own risk. The provider and TRAVIS are not liable for the occurrence of any damage on the Truck Parking resulting from any accident, loss, theft, fire or other cause. Under no circumstance do the provider and TRAVIS accept liability for damage to tyres and by having flat tyres on the terrain of the provider.
  5. The user is required to always comply with instructions and designations provided by or on behalf of the provider. These instructions or designations may be provided by means of signs, indications or symbols by the providers and/or their representative (including security).
  6. If provider or its representatives suffer damage or loss, because the user of the Truck Parking does not comply with these general user conditions, then the user is obligated to reimburse all loss and damage to the provider, upon first demand, without prejudice to the rights that that provider can derive from the law.
  7. If the user does not comply with these general user conditions, then the provider can immediately (permanently) deny the user access to the Truck Parking. No restitution of already paid parking fees through TRAVIS Roadservices will take place in this case.
  8. Reservation of a parking spot at a truck parking connected to TRAVIS can only be done by registered users using In addition to these general ‘truck parking regulations’, the user also agreed with the ‘terms and conditions’ of TRAVIS Roadservices during the TRAVIS user registration process.
  9. Parking rates which are displayed on the TRAVIS website are daily rates and can be changed by the provider at any time. No rights can be derived from these. The displayed parking rates are always excluding VAT and any transaction, costs fees and/or booking costs.
  10. For a reservation of a parking spot using the TRAVIS website and for entering the reserved truck parking, you are considered to have agreed to these regulations, which apply to every parking terrain which is offered through TRAVIS.
  11. User is required to always park the entire vehicle in the parking space designated by the provider.
  12. If you do not immediately/correctly comply with the instruction/indications, then the provider is entitled to move/remove your vehicle. Provider is entitled to recover the costs of doing so from you.
  13. The same traffic rules and rules of conduct apply at the Truck Parking as they apply on the public road. The traffic signs and signals all have the same meaning.
  14. The (driving) behaviour on the Truck Parking cannot cause danger and hindrance to the user, the employees of the provider and other users of the Truck Parking. User will need to comply with the locally applicable standards of decency and politeness. You are considered to be aware of these and to comply with them.
  15. The condition and content of the vehicles and accompanying material and other means of transport should always comply with the lawful requirements.
  16. It is not allowed to disconnect a vehicle from material that follows it or trailer, and to leave it behind unattended.
  17. Driving in and out of the Truck Parking and driving forward and/or backward at the Truck Parking cannot occur before the driver has made sure that no danger or hindrance can occur to other traffic and those present.
  18. No vehicles can be operated on the Truck Parking without valid driving license. The vehicle registration certificates and driving licenses need to be displayed upon request of the provider or its representatives.
  19. The maximum speed on the Truck Parking is 15 km/hour unless indicated otherwise locally.
  20. It is expressly prohibited to use alcoholic beverages and/or drugs and/or have it in possession at the Truck Parking.
  21. It is expressly prohibited to make an open fire.
  22. It is prohibited to make use of generators or cooling engines, unless indicated otherwise by the provider.
  23. It is prohibited to cause noise disturbance at the Truck Parking.
  24. It is expressly prohibited to carry out repairs and maintenance to trucks/ trailers at the Truck Parking.
  25. Small items of household waste need to be deposited in the waste bins present at our Truck Parking, leaving behind waste is not allowed.
  26. Cars and service vehicles can only be parked at the Truck Parking on the parking spots intended for this purpose.
  27. It is prohibited to enter the Truck Parking with bicycles, mopeds, bikes and/or scooters.
  28. The Truck Parking is not accessible for heavy goods traffic transporting hazardous substances (ADR) or goods, unless expressly on the parking spots designated by the Truck Parking and specially intended for it (ADR).
  29. Minors can only enter the Truck Parking under supervision of an adult.
  30. Provider and its employees are charged with the monitoring of the execution and compliance of these regulations. Provider and/or its employees are entitled to temporarily deviate from the prescriptions set out in these regulations.
  31. In all events which these standard TRAVIS Truck Parking Regulations do not provide for, the judgment of the provider or its employees are always binding.
  32. Without prejudice to which steps can be taken pertaining to offenders in the event of failure of performance or acting in breach with any provisions of these regulations, he or she can also be denied access to the Truck Parking with any vehicle.
  33. Parking spaces booked by the user via TRAVIS can be cancelled free of charge up to 4 hours before the indicated arrival time. After this time it is no longer possible to cancel free of charge and the booked parking space will always be charged.
