Holiday Restrictions & Traffic Bans: Plan Accordingly!

Summer holiday traffic bans & restrictions

The summer holidays are in full swing – which means that heavy goods vehicles (7.5+ tonnes) will face truck traffic bans on a large number of European roads. Having to deviate from regular routes (or driving times) can prove challenging for carriers. Not only will destinations be harder to reach – but having access to required truck services might not be as straightforward on unfamiliar terrain.

Plan ahead

We’ve compiled this list with the main restrictions and bans in August. Feel free to consult this overview to plan accordingly. Are you or your drivers affected by these holiday restrictions? Simply use our map and plan your vehicles’ services in time. Not taking any chances? Create a free TRAVIS account and book services in advance. Guarantee yourself a parking spot for the night or make sure you do not miss that oh-so important trailer disinfection.
